GETTING ADMITTED
Checking In to Inpatient Rehab
Admission times are thoughtfully arranged to guarantee that everyone coming to our facility receives the full focus of our care team. Be mindful that arriving late may lead to a wait time.
For the well-being and sobriety of all residents, a mandatory search of your person and belongings is conducted upon arrival. Items not allowed during treatment will be safely stored until your stay concludes. Occasional random searches may also be conducted during your time at The Recovery Village Palmer Lake.

Our Programs
Our Treatment Process
Patients at The Recovery Village Palmer Lake begin rehab at the level of care best suited for their needs. They may step down to less intensive levels of care as they recover from addiction. Many patients start treatment with a medical detox, followed by the inpatient level of care.
Medical Detox
Managing withdrawal is crucial, and it can be risky without proper care. Our round-the-clock medical team is dedicated to treating withdrawal symptoms promptly, prioritizing your safety and comfort.
Inpatient Rehab
Living onsite and participating in intensive addiction treatment can center your attention on recovery and teach you the crucial skills to make recovery last.
Outpatient Rehab
Patients attend outpatient appointments online or at our Denver office so they can keep working, attending school or maintaining their homes.
Length of Stay
The duration of your stay is subject to your program, personalized treatment plan, recovery milestones, and insurance considerations. In broad terms, clients may receive:
Will I be forced to stay in treatment?
We strongly urge all patients to complete their treatment plan, as premature departure from medical care may elevate the risk of relapse and overdose. However, individuals retain the right to leave treatment at any point, even against medical advice, as long as there is no imminent danger to themselves or others.

PAYING FOR TREATMENT
Insurance and Your Obligation During Treatment
Nearly all health insurance plans require you to pay some out-of-pocket costs to access your healthcare benefits (collectively, the “Patient Responsibility”).
Your individual Patient Responsibility will differ.
An intake coordinator will review your Patient Responsibility with you during admission or as soon as you are medically stable. They will explain the deductible is due during admission and that the co-insurance amount and out-of-pocket balance will be billed and paid for once services are complete. Onsite financial counselors will review your financial responsibility again during treatment with case managers who can help you navigate FMLA and short-term disability.
Before admitting at The Recovery Village Palmer Lake, you must check with your insurance provider to ensure you understand your individual benefits plan. Your insurance plan may not be a “participating provider” with The Recovery Village Palmer Lake. You are responsible for all non-covered and out-of-pocket costs related to your treatment stay.
