Outpatient rehab at our sister facility, Denver Mental Health & Counseling, can help you or a loved one plan your recovery around work hours, school schedules and life commitments.
In outpatient rehab, patients attend scheduled visits with our addiction treatment therapists. Patients who live within 20 miles of Denver may visit our sister outpatient facility for treatment at hours that work with their schedule, then return home. Patients outside that range may get their therapy sessions online through teletherapy. Outpatient rehab is often more flexible and lower cost than inpatient care, but clients are responsible for their own sobriety while they’re not in sessions.
Outpatient rehab could be a good fit for you if these points apply to you:
Outpatient rehab serves as a bridge to daily life after inpatient treatment or as the initial care level for milder addictions. In one-on-one sessions, your counselor helps you explore the roots of your addiction. Group therapy fosters fellowship, and with high-quality medical care tailored to your schedule, you can continue work, school, or family responsibilities.
Our sister facility in Denver, Colorado, is a treatment office offering outpatient therapy sessions for primary mental health needs and substance use disorders. Clients are welcome to attend therapy sessions in person if they’re close enough to travel (a 20-mile radius around Denver) or can attend online therapy sessions as needed.

Denver Mental Health & Counseling by The Recovery Village is in-network with most national and local insurance providers. We can verify your insurance coverage or discuss private payment options with you.
The time spent in outpatient rehab varies from person to person. However, most patients complete their outpatient rehab program in 1–3 months or up to a year.
Medical detox is not provided in outpatient rehab. If you need a medical detox to begin your recovery, you can complete a detox at The Recovery Village Palmer Lake prior to starting inpatient or outpatient care.
Many individuals have found recovery through outpatient rehab. Although substance use disorders aren’t curable, the prospect of recovery is real. Patients often witness notable enhancements in physical and mental well-being, relationships, safety, legal standing, employment or education, and relapse duration after their time in care.
No, finding transportation to get to and from outpatient rehab appointments is the patient’s responsibility. Denver Mental Health & Counseling also offers teletherapy sessions for those who would struggle to travel to the treatment center.
Insurance may cover some or all of outpatient rehab costs. Copays and meeting deductibles may still be involved. Denver Mental Health & Counseling can also help people without insurance develop an affordable payment plan.
